Project Spotlight: Global Hockey Consultants Website Launch and Brand Refresh


At July Grey, we focus on building brands with clarity, purpose, and long-term scalability. Our recent partnership with Global Hockey Consultants (GHC) is a strong example of what can happen when strategy, design, and technology come together. What started as a website redesign quickly evolved into a full digital foundation for a growing hockey advisory and player development organization.

This project was built to modernize the brand, streamline communication, and give GHC a platform that can support its next phase of growth.


Modernizing the Brand Without Losing Its Roots

GHC came into the project with a recognizable logo and visual identity that already carried trust in the hockey community. Rather than overhaul it, our goal was refinement.


What we did:

  • Updated the logo with a cleaner, more modern treatment

  • Improved digital usability and scalability

  • Refreshed typography and styling for web and social

  • Created simplified brand assets for consistent application


The final result maintains the spirit of the original mark while elevating it for a more professional and contemporary presence.

A Full Website Rebuild From the Ground Up

The previous website was not built to support GHC’s expanding services or the volume of athletes and families they interact with. We designed and developed a complete new site architecture focused on clarity, credibility, and conversion.


Pages and features delivered:

  • Home Page: Clear value proposition and direct paths for visitors

  • About Page: Team background, mission, and differentiators

  • Services Overview: High-level breakdown of offerings

  • Individual Service Pages: Deeper explanations built for SEO and lead generation

  • Young Guns Page: A platform to showcase rising players

  • Blog: A content hub for insights and thought leadership

  • Contact Page: Streamlined inquiry and communication

  • Private Pitch Page: A backend page built to support pitching and recruiting young players


The site was built for mobile performance, fast load speeds, clean navigation, and a professional design aesthetic aligned with the hockey world.





Streamlining Communication with Google Workspace

Before this project, GHC’s communication systems were spread across different platforms and accounts. We transitioned the entire organization into Google Workspace to centralize and simplify everything.

Key steps included:

  • Migrating all email accounts and data into Google Workspace

  • Setting up organizational structure and permissions

  • Standardizing communication under one system

  • Preparing a scalable foundation for future staff and partners

With this setup, the GHC team can now communicate more efficiently and operate with a unified system across devices and locations.



Social Media Setup and Brand Consistency

To support credibility, recruiting, and visibility, we established and branded GHC’s social media channels.


This included:

  • Creating and configuring accounts

  • Applying consistent branding elements

  • Updating bios and positioning statements

  • Preparing visual templates for future content


Now, GHC has a cohesive presence across the platforms where players, families, and partners engage.



Built for Growth and the Next Phase

This project was not built as a short-term solution. It serves as a foundation for continued growth in athlete development, advisory services, and player marketing.


July Grey will continue supporting Global Hockey Consultants as their player marketing partner, helping with:

  • Ongoing content development

  • Marketing and recruiting support

  • Social media strategy and growth

  • Website updates and enhancements

  • Player storytelling and promotion
